Skewered Chicken Tikkas

INGREDIENTS
 1 kg chicken fillet, cubed
 ½ cup fried browned onions
 2 garlic cloves
 1 cup plain yoghurt
 1 green chilli
 2 tbsp sesame seed oil
 1 tsp turmeric powder
 ½ tsp coarse black pepper
 1 tsp salt
 2 tbsp lemon juice
 2 tsp ground coriander
 2 tbsp chopped green dhania
FOR SKEWERS
 1 onion
 1 red pepper
SERVING SUGGESTION
 Serve with chips and chutney

Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend to a smooth marinade.

Add marinade to the chicken and mix well. Set aside for 30 minutes.

Cut onion and pepper into wedges.

Thread marinated chicken onto skewers, alternating with onion and peppers.

Grill or braai until done.
