My easy and prized roti recipe, delicious with a minimal amount of ghee.

4 cups Flour
2 ½ tsp Salt
⅓ cup Oil
1 ½ cups Boiling water

Rub oil and salt into the flour.

Add boiling water, a little at a time to make a soft pliable dough.

Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.

Break dough into 12 pieces. Roll dough into the size of a medium dinner plate.

Fry as normal on the Tava until dark brown spots appear on both sides.

Remove from tava brush with ghee if desired. Enjoy with a variety of curries.
